We specialize in working with high-performing professionals, from CEOs and doctors to private pilots and their families, helping them achieve their peak physical and mental health while balancing demanding careers.

Our methods are a blend of Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning’s functional training expertise and the strength philosophies of Westside Barbell—designed to help individuals get stronger, more resilient, and more mobile than ever before.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for trainers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and movement specialists who are passionate about improving lives through functional movement and strength training. If you’ve got the technical skills, the experience, and the drive to work with high-performing individuals, we want to hear from you. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Certifications & Experience:

    • Personal Trainers: At least one recognized certification (ACE, NASM, CSCS, etc.) with a background in functional training and strength programming.

    • Occupational & Physical Therapists: A degree and licensure in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy with experience in rehabilitation, pre-hab, or post-rehab movement.

  • Personal Characteristics:

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients who value professionalism and results.

    • The ability to work independently while aligning with our proven systems and high standards.

    • A commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and personalized care.

  • Mindset: We value trainers and therapists who are always looking to learn and grow. If you have a growth mindset and are excited to push yourself to the next level in terms of knowledge and expertise, you’ll thrive with us.

How We Support Your Career

  • Comprehensive Onboarding: We provide you with thorough onboarding to understand our functional training system, rehab protocols, and the way we work with clients. This ensures you start off on the right foot.

  • Mentorship from Experienced Coaches: You’ll receive guidance and mentorship from top-level professionals, including those with experience in high-performance training and rehabilitation. This is a unique opportunity to work with mentors who have successfully applied principles from both functional training and strength training.

  • Marketing & Client Referrals: You’ll get the support you need to build your personal brand within Westside Strength & Conditioning. We’ll help with client referrals and offer guidance on building your online presence and professional reputation.

  • Flexible Scheduling: We know our clients have busy schedules, so we’re committed to offering flexible hours. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your schedule and work as many hours as you'd like.

A Day in the Life at Westside Strength & Conditioning

As a member of our team, your day might look like this:

  • Morning Sessions: You’ll begin your day by training clients who are high-level professionals—some might need help with strength training, others with mobility, and still others with post-rehabilitation work. No two days are the same, but the goal is always to challenge and improve your clients.

  • Midday Focus: You’ll likely spend your afternoons relaxing and preparing. Communicating with clients to finalize your schedule for that evening and the next morning (10-20% of appointments are rescheduled), getting some rest, "sharpening your saw" via personal growth, learning new training methods, etc... maybe even working out!

  • Evening Wrap-up: Evening sessions involve working with busy professionals and athletes who want to fit in an efficient workout after their workday or swim practice. May also involve team collaboration, refining strategies, and prepping for the next day's sessions.
